Household Cavalry Composite Regiment
Formed in August 1914 with each of the Household Cavalry regiments providing one Squadron and placed under orders of 4th Cavalry Brigade in the Cavalry Division.
16 August 1914 : landed in France.
16 August 1914 : Cavalry Division renamed 1st Cavalry Division.
11 November 1914 : Composite regiment broken up and Squadrons returned to parent regiments.
